Why the Blog?

Jim and I are each setting up blogs to let our friends and customers know what's happening in the Pearson household as well as at Clear Writing Leads.
Jim was recently elected president of Sun Valley Shooting Park and somehow by default I became secretary. To keep members updated we started a SVSP blog.
Because that one worked so well, we decided to start personal/business ones, thus the birth of Hither and Yon and Jim's Plinking, Plunking and Perusing.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Website, Clear Writing Leads

I've been on a steep, never-ending technological learning curve for the past few years, and it's looking as though the end is not in sight. The latest hair-pulling project, which is a work in progress, is setting up a website for our home business, Clear Writing Leads. Incidentally, if you're reading this before the web site is launched and if you click the link to CWL, we're obviously not there yet. Will let you know when the link is actually working.
Just prior to developing the website, I learned more than I really wanted to know about gif's, ps's, pdf's, job options files, dpi's, eps's, etc. as I edited and prepared Jim's first novel, Cliff's Journals, for printing. The book is now at the printers, and we're waiting for proofs to see how much more editing needs to be done. At any rate, we're going to market his book, along with mine, online . . . thus the reason for the website.
It's hard to believe, but I'm starting to have fond memories of the days when we put newsletters together using the old cut-and-paste method. And the direct-mail marketing process we used for my Friday Fun book is looking better and better all the time. Such is life in the e-commerce fast lane.
